This stunning waterfront property is located on a 9.92 acre peninsula on Lake Louise (the largest fresh water lake system you can drive to in Alaska). The 12,000 sq ft main building has 13 guest rooms and a Manager’s room. There are 12 standard rooms with half baths (6 standard rooms and two private shower rooms on each floor). The generator building houses three diesel generators; A 12 KW Northern Lights, a 20 KW John Deere, and a 50 KW Isuzu. There is oil-fired forced air heat on the first floor and electric baseboard heat on the second floor. And there are both electric and oil fired hot water heaters. There is an 8” commercial well 112’ deep. The septic system has a septic tank with lift station to the leach field.
Winter recreation includes ice fishing, snowmachining, x-country skiing, ice skating, sledding, and viewing the northern lights.
Summer activities includes boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, hiking, flightseeing, bird watching, wildflower viewing, and wild berry picking.
There is abundant wildlife in the Lake Louise area. It is home to moose, caribou, fox, wolf, lynx, black and grizzly bears. Also, home to eagles, swans, and numerous other species of birds.
